Code Enforcement

The Village of Buckeye Lake is responsible for protecting our community's health, safety, and welfare through effective enforcement of city codes and ordinances. 

The goal of the Code Enforcement Division is to provide information to all interested parties and to fairly and efficiently enforce the Village of Buckeye Lake Code and Ordinances.

Instructions for Submitting a Code Enforcement Complaint

On this page, click on the "Click Here to Submit a Code Enforcement Complaint" link.
This will open up a new page where you can locate the code enforcement complaint form.
Complete the form as instructed, then click "Submit."
Make sure to write down your Case # to be able to track the complaint.

You can submit multiple violations on the same property 
BUT PLEASE ONLY SUBMIT ONE COMPLAINT PER ADDRESS.

Complaint forms with several addresses on it will be rejected. You only need to submit your complaint form once and it will be looked into. Understand that not all complaints received are code enforcement violations.
If you want to be contacted about your complaint, you MUST provide a valid telephone number where you can be reached.

The Code Enforcement Division is part-time, so please be patient and understand we will contact you.
